I used to do a 2 week menu but haven't for awhile and feel like I'm in a rut on what to make for dinner so I wanted to get everyones input.... it's a simple question and gives you GREAT ideas. I LOVE Titanic.... I saw it 5 times in the theater and the day it was released I picked it up at midnight just to go home and watch it 3 more times. I still cry almost everytime! I'm such a sap!

SICK, SICK, SICK!
I'm not sure if it was working like a dog all weekend but I am sicker then a dog!On Sunday it started, and yesterday was NOT fun at all. Had to work 9 hours with a 100+ temp. today I still don't feel great but alittle better.

Now on to the questions:
1. If you could speak with a different accent, what would it be (i.e Australian, Scottish)?
I'm not sure, I want to say just about anything.... maybe a little more southern being from and in Texas I don't really sound like it!
2. Can you fall asleep anywhere? (i.e floor, couch, deck)
No, I can fall asleep on the couch sometimes but I have to be in bed for the most part... it takes me awhile to fall asleep!
3. Do you use public restrooms? If so, do you sit on the toilet?
Yes, I try to use one of the paper butt gaskets but since I have had kids I don't always have the time to get it out, put it down and then take of the pants... sometimes it's all I got to not pee my pants LOL
4. If you were stuck in an elevator for 24 hours, what celebrity would you most want to be stuck with?
I hate elevators, so I would freak! but IF I got stuck I would LOVE to be stuck with Tim McGraw..... I LOVE him!
5. Where did you & your significant other go on your 1st date?
We met up with a friend at Olive Garden, he's not a fan of it but he went!

Excited proud Momma here!
Last week we left me 19 month old son with my father in-law for a few hours and told him that Eli likes to sit on the potty. He took him to sit and for the 1st time ever Eli went Pee Pee, kinda sad that we missed it but excited he did it. Tonight I had to go pick up Ashlyn from AWANA's and got home to my husband and ELi in the bath, I got Eli out, dried him off and he said pee pee (meaning he wanted to sit on the potty) so I sat him down and guess what..... He Pee Pee'd!!!! I was so excited, I was clapping and yelling big boy! He was all excited! SO PROUD!
Back to school night....
Tonight was Ashlyn's 1st back to school night, I got off work just so I could go! We got there just in time and watched the boys scouts present the flag and said the pledge, got the agenda by who we now know was the PTA president it had like 10 bullet points on there... I thought the whole idea of back to school night was to get and idea of what the kids are doing, getting to meet the teachers you know that kinda stuff. Not to go over what the PTA needs money wise, don't get me wrong I'm not trying to complain but I just wanted to go have Ashlyn show me around, see what they do and come back home so I can fix dinner and get kids in the bath. Anyhow, after ALL that we did get to go to her classroom and see all her stuff, her backpack hook, her cubbie, desk, name tag and say hi to the teacher. I kinda wish Ashlyn was going to the school she went to last year, we just got a WAY better vibe and everyone was so friendly but at this school... not so much!

This and that....
Were do I start? I totally feel like a scatter brain these days.... with work, kids, the BIG kid (husband) I feel like I have NO time to think! so here is a quick run down on what's been going on with me...
Eli started getting sick and when I say sick I mean pukey up every 5 minutes yuck! Of coarse why keep things like that to yourself, lets share with everyone! LOL So 2 days later Ashlyn gets sent home from school with the same thing, later that night momma gets it! YAY me! We thought we were passed it and then Ashlyn started throwing up again Wednesday night and now it's moved on to Eli.....I love school being back in!
Well enough of that, did anyone know that September is childhood cancer month????
This is something very near and dear to my heart, My best friends son passed away at 22 months after a 5 month battle with neuroblastome cancer. Chili's is doing something super cool that we just had to get in on, You get to color a pepper for $1,$5, or any donation you want to make and all the proceeds got to St. Judes cancer research, you can also buy a T-shirt for $12 Ashlyn and I both got one! Go have dinner color a pepper and get you a shirt, it's for a great cause!
